Yama, Kubera, the guardians of directions, poets and scholars — none can fully describe your glory. You helped Sugriv and united him with Ram, granting him his kingdom. Vibhishan accepted your counsel and became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows. The sun, thousands of yojanas away, you swallowed thinking it a sweet fruit. Carrying Ram's ring in your mouth, you crossed the ocean; no wonder at all.
Whatever difficult task exists in this world becomes easy by your grace. You are the guardian at Ram's door; none enter without your permission. All happiness is found under your shelter; with you as protector, there is nothing to fear. You alone can withstand your own splendour; the three worlds tremble at your roar. Ghosts and evil spirits cannot come near when your mighty name is uttered. All ailments and pains vanish for one who constantly chants your name, O brave Hanuman. Hanuman rescues from every trouble one who meditates on you in thought, word and deed. Ram, the great ascetic king, above all, and you accomplish all his tasks. Whoever brings any wish to you receives the limitless fruit of life. Your glory shines in all four ages, renowned and radiant across the world. You are the protector of saints and sages, and the beloved of Ram, destroyer of demons.
